Hermes End-User Licence Agreement

Effective date: 10 September 2026

This End-User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of Hermes, an AI assistant operated through Websited Digital (“Hermes”, “we”, “us”). By using Hermes or connecting it to QuickBooks Online, you agree to this Agreement.

Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Hermes for your internal business purposes in accordance with this Agreement.

Your account and authority

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity performed through your account. You must have authority to connect each QuickBooks company and to instruct Hermes to access or change its records.

Permitted use

You may use Hermes to assist with authorised business tasks, including reviewing customer, product, service, and invoice information and creating or sending invoices at your direction. You must review important information and proposed accounting actions before relying on them.

Restrictions

You must not use Hermes unlawfully; attempt to bypass security or access controls; access another person’s data without authority; interfere with the service; reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits; or use the service to distribute malware, fraud, spam, or harmful content.

AI-generated output and professional advice

Hermes uses artificial intelligence and may produce incomplete or inaccurate output. Hermes does not provide legal, tax, financial, or accounting advice. You remain responsible for checking outputs, maintaining appropriate records, and obtaining professional advice when needed.

QuickBooks and other third-party services

QuickBooks Online and other third-party services are provided under their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and operation are outside our control. Your use of those services remains subject to your agreements with their providers.

Ownership

We and our licensors retain rights in Hermes, its software, branding, and documentation. You retain rights in information you provide, subject to the permissions needed for us to operate the service.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Termination

You may stop using Hermes and disconnect QuickBooks at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for unlawful use, security risk, material breach of this Agreement, or discontinuation of the service.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hermes is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from use of Hermes. Nothing in this Agreement excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement when Hermes or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an updated Agreement takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
